I agree. Just a few more posts away from number 1. Although I'm not just posting for posting sake.

We were number 1 for a second, but don't look now VIVUS is catching up. VIVUS is the pioneer of a new therapy for Erectile Dysfunction (impotence), called the Transurethral System for Erection.

I guess I shouldn't use the word 'up' and VIVUS in the same paragraph.

>>>Obviously a topic with significant interest.

I believe the interest in e-commerce is just started. There are a number of companies out there which are going to be players in this segment. This tread is all about the uncovering of opportunities in this segment, which many expect to explode of the next 3 to 5 years.

We all sit here waiting to hear about the companies which have you excited about this trend....an information exchange about the segment if you will.

To those who are not familiar with the Model Portfolio this thread is putting together, it is our attempt to set a benchmark on this market segment.

techstocks.com

At this point the portfolio is a diverse group within the e-commerce segment focused on; backend(business to business), frontend solution providers, payment technology, a number of e-based business(banking, brokerage, travel, software), and security vendors.

We are still in the process of building our benchmark model, it currently assumes $1000 invested in each at the close on 2/27/98. To see the rate of change since then...select 'Daily Change' in the drop down box at the top right. And feel free to tell us all about the companies which have your interest in this segment. We are looking for small companies with big prospects.
