No. You can short IPO stocks after 3 days as long as your broker has shares to borrow. Please make sure your info. is correct before you post.

First I believe you cannot short an IPO for the first 4 weeks (not sure of that, but I have read that somewhere). Next here's a link to someone who did short it.
