Nice! Don Reid is New York courtesy of Merrill on the 24th of this month. We seem to be moving from the "fog of despair" to some glimmers of hope. Even the bearish analysts' comments in the various articles are generally a bit stronger than "cautiously optimistic". While it is too soon for them to come up with buy recommendations, I would not be surprised if some are taking a position personally.

Although I don't think I want to see it happen just yet, I'm glad to see talk of a Spectrum spin off. Did'nt IBM pay north of $500 million for Tivoli about 3 years ago? I have always felt that Spectrum was my downside protection, and I think Reid going public with the possibility of a spin off shows he is serious about shareholder value and will help firm things up at these prices. (like you couldn't tell he was serious from his $32 options)

Anybody hear anything abouth the JP Morgan roadshow on Friday?
Hey where is GWM?

Cheers,
