Am I missing something here or what. Before the split:
Megaworld Inc
Last 3/8 Open 0
Change unch Previous Close 3/8
% Change 0.00% Bid 0.343
Volume 0 Ask 0.406
Day's High 0 52 Week High 0
Day's Low 0 52 Week Low 0

Multiply the bid by 12 = 4.116
Multiply the ask by 12 = 4.872

Current bid on MEGWD 2.687 x 4
Looks to me we have lost a lot on the split!
Please correct me if I am wrong or did something wrong in my math.
Scott

Although it's been years, one thing I remember from my corporate law class is that management's most important fiduciary duty is to its shareholders. For the life of me, I cannot see how getting the business operations smoothed out and releasing news of what businesses the british are bringing to this company are mutually exclusive. Shareholders have a right to this information if it will materially affect the stock price. Indeed, shareholder derivative suits have succeeded as a result of management's failure to act in this regard. The fact that management is not forthcoming with their supposedly great news not only keeps the price of the stock down, but it also raises questions about their credibility (they said it would be released March 16) and their capability (as a shareholder, I want management to be first and foremost concerned with my interests). This is not handholding, as you suggest; instead, it's basic corporate fiduciary duties. How difficult is a press release? Hell, I'll fly to New York and type it myself if they would like. Sounds like David Furstenburg is in contact with Mr. Levy. Pass along my comments the next time you talk to him please. I doubt I'm alone on this issue.
