I don't know if this has been posted yet about the "mystery witness" Ms. Densuk, but here it is (from MSNBC):

QUESTIONS ABOUT `MYSTERY WITNESS'
Meanwhile, in one of the stranger developments in the
investigation, NBC affiliate WBAL in Baltimore reported
Monday that Sherrie Densuk, the so-called "mystery
witness" in the Lewinsky case who surfaced over the
weekend, may have had legal troubles of her own in the
past.
The New York Post reported Sunday that Densuk, an
aspiring songwriter in her mid-20s, had been subpoenaed to
appear before the grand jury investigating the Lewinsky
allegations.
Her attorney, Keith Watters, was quoted as saying the
subpoena sought "at least 100 different items of
information," including computer disks, cellular phones and
recording devices. He also said Densuk would offer
"significant testimony ... with serious implications," but
added that she had no relationship of any sort with the
president and can only offer secondary information.

On Monday,
WBAL reported that
Densuk has a lengthy
record of petty crimes
and has been
diagnosed as suffering
from a psychiatric
disorder. Watters said
he was unaware of
any criminal record
and was looking into
the matter.
WBAL reported
that Densuk had been
convicted of forgery,
petty theft, credit card
misuse and resisting arrest, and had been described in court
filings as delusional.
The report suggested that Starr's investigators might
have been fooled into believing that Densuk had some
evidence related to their investigation.
Densuk originally was supposed to testify on Tuesday,
but Watters said her appearance had been postponed
because she was sick.

<<I know that Mother Jones folks hated Clinton long before his first term.>>

The operative in your statement is "BEFORE" his first term.
