i think what is spooking a lot of people is why iomega is reporting revenue $180 million below the previous quarter even WITH the addition of BUZ, jaz 2 and disk sales.

obviously the slowdown in PC sales is impacting Iomega.

But also the demographics of PC sales is also. for example, 60% of all pc's sold are to former pc users. If they transfer their zip drive from one case to another, then a majority of zip owners will not buy another zip.

i doubt the market for zips is saturated in the US, but i think that the run rate in the US definitely is showing negative growth, because the upgrade cycle will not include new zips for replacement boxes.

Kevin, why buy a risky stock like IOM? Buy some other quality stock. There are many out there.
