I was well aware of Mr. Franklin when I used him as an example. During the French Revolution there were only two famous Americans that had any real contact with the French government at the time. The other being Thomas Jefferson. So I made a choice between the two. I understood that it was a no-win choice but it sure beat having to choose a Frenchman! To say that aggregate agreement is boring flies in the face of history!
