<The celebration commanded in Lev 23 that you mention is in fact celebrated in exactly that manner. It is Succoth (sp?). I have several close friends who are very conservative Jews and they celebrate this in exactly this manner. I've been invited to certain aspects and it is a wonderful celebration and exactly as commanded.> And Jacob journeyed to Succoth, and built him a house, and made booths for his cattle: therefore the name of the place is called Succoth. Dearest Henry, You are right in calling it Succoth, there are Sephardic and Ashkenasi names for the Holidays that very only slightly but that is what your friends knew it was as they are a more reliable source on Jewish Feast than Chris is. Since they are the true Israel of God shouldn't they be doing these feast since most are commanded to do forever? There is no hope for reason in these areas and I don't really care to my Lord knows my heart and knows how much I love everyone here and do not chose to have to defend my beliefs with insensitive people. Thank you for sharing your experience and that they were not sacrficing babies and bowing to satan. They that bless thee will be bless, they that curse thee will be cursed. However in Jesus there is no curse for He took it all upon Himself for us all. Nancy
