TO ALL PLEASE READ and THINK!
And RELAX!!

Posted by Avalon on Stockhouse.

This Rodriguez guy, from what I understand, has no real authority..and is allied with the CVG.
His complaints seem to be directed toward the stoppage of work at Cristinas and the people who are unemployed. Whadda ya expect...Its an election year down there!!

Blhwak mentioned "steps are being taken"...well Fung, RM etc. are busy making calls right now in an effort to curtail this bozo's plans to make a speech...as he has NO APPARENT AUTHORITY to make statements on behalf of the Venezuelan government.

If he gets the opportunity to speak, it will nodoubt be a rocky ride but since the markets are closed, no use fretting about it right now.

Perhaps if PG has a laptop he might care to comment on this for us as this Rodriguez person apparently tried to question his stance on the KRY/PDG issue after his speech...

Michael,

Mr. Rodrigues is a minor politician in Venezuela. I have no doubt whatsoever that his grand standing in Miami is his way of pandering to the electorate.
This man is a wannabe.

We KNOW that the ruling regarding KRY's motions will be handed down "very soon" according to Chief Justice Sosa Gomez, so what could Mr. Rodriguez have t gain from his "press conference" except greater public exposure and the vote of the working class who are no longer working at Las Claritas.

Negative sentiment was already apparent in the market reaction before the close so I would expect that the lowest point in the day should be the morning opening. Mr. Rodriguez's "press conference" is scheduled for 10:30 AM. Let us see if he is able to deliver it and what he has to say.
