David, On the voting issue, I'm sure we would be talking about a 1 to 1 match against your own enrollment or it would never sell. It really wouldn't be any different then now. I have to walk down a line of 5 people (judges) where I live to finally get a ballot. I have to sign my name and match it against one in their book. It makes you feel like you are in a line-up. Usually the line up is made up of ex-political figures. The fingerprint match could be an option for those that want to save time. It could be unattended, thus saving millions of dollars for the government to waste somewhere else. I can't imagine how a person would feel that can't even speak English going through such a line-up as I mentioned above. By using a fingerprint, they wouldn't have to say a word! Also with IDX superior technology, the prints would not be used for law-enforcement purposes, only matching purposes. True, this will not be something that happens tomorrow, everywhere. It may happen in individual places after being voted on by the public. Time will tell! As far as this keeping people from voting, I don't thing so, but if it did, they probably have some reason for being worried. Maybe they are wanted, maybe they owe taxes? The average voter turn-out now is terrible and abuse is rampant. The bad guys are never going to play by the rules anyway, and this would help assure that the country is run by the good guys!
