Jerry just may win that election, unless he decides to run for something else in the meantime. Jerry is famous for his willingness to meet the moment, as evidenced by his flip-flop on Prop 13 before and after it passed. There are many Californians who now hold firm in the belief that Jerry actually authored Prop 13.

My most vivid memories of Jerry's era relate to Rose Elizabeth Bird and an abundance of freeway daisies. Freeway daisies along the 880 would be nice, I suppose.

Ok, let's say Jerry wins in Oakland and then both he and Willie in San Fran both lose their next election. Could we at that point say that the Bay Area experienced a Brown out? LMAO!
