Yesterday, no surprise - DS, Nesbitt, and CT continued to accumulate as they and others (Midland and Greenline) have been doing for the last month or so (coincident with Wolf Mountain drilling + exploration drilling on the Big Whopper).

While this is only mere speculation, I see 2 different trading patterns from Canaccord: (i) many U.S. investors buy (and sell) through Canaccord, its good to see that interest, and (ii) as you point out, Canaccord's trading volumes have been considerably higher as news has been released - typical of pro-traders - this does not appear to have had any adverse impact on the intra-day stock price (with volume comes additional investor interest, increased market awareness, etc.).

In terms of the day-traders, I agree with Fixer.

The reported short position has not been updated since March 5th = 11,500 (-4,900 from mid-Feb). The next report should be out this week.

As for news, the company's past practices of releasing information to shareholders is noteworthy:

(i) the company has a track record of reporting news in a timely manner to ensure full disclosure to all shareholders, and, more importantly,

(ii) news is based on 'full information', as opposed to speculation. None of us want to see the 'initial indication only','one-hole' or 'partial result' reporting tactics that some use to fuel speculation (i.e. the stock price).
