I'm new to SI so excuse me. I have heard rumors GMD is going to be consolidated with some other companies and that the new company will be renamed. I have also heard they are planning on doing 1 for 2 stock reversal. Anyone hear anything about this. I also understand a new director is about to join the company after the due diligence is complete. The new director is suppose to be will connected. Any comments anyone.

Hello Cal

I had not Cal, but then I have not been intimately following Kennecott's inner organizational workings.

I have spoken several times to his predecessor George Read, and discussed his research and chemistry findings in detail. He was both knowledgeable and his discussions had the ring of validity and truth to them. GR made a presentation at the NWT Geoscience Forum in YK this past fall, to a packed house of geologists.

His presentation/paper included a slide presentation of the geochemistry grains, probed plottings, EM & Mag plottings and the probable pipe targets which looked strikingly like unerroded volcanic cones. He made quite an impression and was the reason I was drawn to this play.

GMD's NR suggests that nobody is working for them right now, so I don't know if MS is still working for the company? Last exploration news was that there were still 1997 geochemical samples being processed back in December. Whether that work was completed and new trains plotted before the current shut down, I also don't know?

I have not heard about any other legal difficulties and I have spoken to one of the local Directors. He expressed something of a wait and see perspective, referring to the outcome of the audit and confirmation of the loans reimbursement.

That process would appear to be where things were left and may still remain.

At this point, I believe it would be appropriate for DW to offer some interim information and an indication of plans or progress?

David, if your still lurking, your silence is starting to sound a little deafening.
