I must admit, i get a chuckle when i read this board. You guys continue to say the quarter was not that great, i just laugh. How many other companies trade within 3 dollars of book and trade at less than 10 times past earnings or future estimates ? The main problem with valuation is sediment toward Nam Tai, the company needs to learn how to play the " Wall Street Game ". Mr. Koo is tryin as of late, give him some credit. This stock has a valuation that is a joke compared to the rest of the sector, but when it goes up some, some of you act like " how can it go up " ? And Mr. Koo is not playin with the stock price, there are SEC regulations he must follow so if he does a transaction, it must be in line with the rules. Insider activity is over-rated in my opinion, would you hold your company stock if it was as volatile as tech stocks ? I would always be selling part of my holdings just because of the volatility. As for year over year comparisons, revenue and profit grew over 20 % and over 100 % respectively. 4th quarter revenue comparisons were flat i agree, but with the economic turmoil going on, not too many tech companies can even come up with flat revenues and they trade with outrageous multiples compared to Nam Tai. If you guys are critical of Nam Tai like this, hate to see how you are with other stocks you own, but then again, you probably like the stock valuation so you overlook the factors that you pound Nam Tai on. Anyway, enough said, everyone has their own opinion but at least try to state facts in your analysis, not a bias opinion.
