No, I did not know about that island, Carol. But I think it sounds quite intriguing. Everywhere in the world are small groups of people who somehow became geographically isolated eons ago, and still have very old, sometimes insular cultures that are not replicated anywhere else. To some degree, our Cajuns are like that, as are some of the people who live in Appalacia. Time has somehow passed them by. I found a url to a beautiful place, Carol.
