'Unilever issues millennium ultimatum. The conglomerate has said it has been preparing for the millennium since late 1995 and expects overall compliance at Unilever to be completed by the end of 1998. Unilever says it is "concerned that not all our suppliers are giving this [millennium compliance] adequate attention. We are in dialogue with all our suppliers to see if they are compliant and to give us the reassurance we need.
