ALL: Heard GAO say computers would fail (y2k)

I just heard the noon news on NPR and they reported that in testimony today, the GAO said that it was too late for some government computers to make it in 2000 and that triage and contingency planning should begin. Talk of Treasury's computers and that the weak link interacting with them could be Asia or Europe.

Check the papers tomorrow!

Best, Ivan1
