But usually people reputed to be Casanovas aren't as active as they're believed to be, so my guess is that the story of his infidelities isn't as lurid as painted, if only because it isn't all that easy to manage vast numbers of simultaneous affairs, even if they're extremely perfunctory ones.

I'm not rendering absolute judgment on the chix. I'm merely saying that we need to take, um, a hard look at their stories. A great many people on this thread seem quite willing to believe whatever they say. The fact that so many of 'em stand to profit from their revelations is more than a bit disturbing.

Don't see the connection of Casanova and anything that is being discussed on this thread. From what I gather, Casanova was a bum that couldn't do anything well enough to stay employed, so he romanced women in lieu of working......Oh! now I see your point.

I must admit it has to be pretty romantic for a secret service agent to ask you for a phone number for the President. Courtship be his middle name.
