QUESTION

1) It does seem strange that after a dismal report on earnings
-41 cents - that there were NO brokerage reports. Are
they waiting until:

a) After meeting is held?
b) Options in March to expire & if so WHY?
c) To reduce MU holdings before the end of the quarter
& the beginning of the next quarter to inflate results?

Or do we make too much of the effect institutions have on price?

Or is MU fairly priced - WHICH I FIND HARD TO BELIEVE LOOKING
AT FUNDAMENTALS?

Or is the MARKET A RUNAWAY TRAIN WHICH BELIEVES THERE
IS ONLY ONE DIRECTION?

John, "..... we will see them after MU files its 10-K report. There's a higher level of detail -- and requirements of truthfullness -- in the 10K's than in the Q reports."

Huh? Don't hold your breath waiting for the next 10k, which should be showing up sometime next 0ctober '98. Although you are sort of right. Anyway, 10k is the annual report to SEC and the q is the quarterly report which we should see shortly.

regards, DWW

John:
Excellent comment. Can't wait for its appearance. Kathleen (our resident 10K sleuth) has them darned near memorized in any event. (g)
