couple lessons i've learned in these past few months:

1) let profits run.. as long as no sell signal triggered, stay in. ie: dell, mer

2) cut losses quickly : should have exitied sooner with my tech losers

3) find optimal timeframe.: i was using weekly signals to trade. big no no especially for techs.. i think there is truly an optimal timeframe. too short, profits will be minimal. look too long, and you're entering too late on rallies, and exiting too late on rallies.. happy medium..

4) understand sector rotation. be smart. if too risky, play something else. no one is forcing you to play techs..

5) watch the index charts to find out which sector to go into.

gotta go to work.
