I don't know about any buyout, but GIC's price is doing pretty well right now. I don't think the Apple device should impact GIC at all. Lots of present Apple users won't use a low end internet device (myself for one), but instead we use independent Apple computers that could still benefit from a GIC hook-up box.

It took my cashing out to move to another IRA broker on Monday.
What I don't understand, is why it took 2 days to go back into the 18's. My sells usually cause quicker rebounds than that! :-)
