David...Yes. Polaroid has the contract with WVA Dept. of Motor Vehicles and, yes, there's a fingerprint component. I'll try to post the link for you. Jean P.S. One of Viisage's driver's license cards has a fingerprint component.

Viisage does have a "Fingerprint Capture Unit" viisage.com

The post to Jean(post 7222) was meant to add to her possible clue as to who was working with Polaroid. I should have stated that.

The headline from the post "Viisage Technology to Provide Voter Identification Cards to The Republic of The Philippines", lead me to believe it was a national issue. I'll have to learn to scan better.
