Greg: You've probably got it right. If it is calculated on a rolling basis, its probably eliminating the large down volume from the conference call debacle from the calculation. So, even though today's action shouldn't have improved the index, the elimination of the data from the conference call reaction could, I guess.

Greg and Larry thanks for the explainations
of money flow indicators. It's pretty clear
that from the discussion that none of these ta
indicators can be taken blindly. i.e. the
'money flow' increase today comes from
2/17 falling off the back end of the ma, not
what happened any time within the current ma!

it's also true as one poster mentioned about ld
buying as a non-indicator. this stock is a no
income single story game. it's very hard to believe
that ANY technical trading factors are going
to have any influence whatsoever in the current
situation.

it will go up on any good news and may go down on
any bad or neutral news. from the technical viewpoint
the fact that it is trading in a tight range
indicates unlimited demand at current support and
any and all loose apples falling from the tree.
as long as the demand holds up we're in great shape
and should expect pretty good upwards pressure on any
good news, epecially since there is no immediate
overhang, and anybody foolish (i hope) enough to
sell now, has had plenty of time to do so.
If anything with any kind of fancier name can tell
more than the above common-sense seat of the pants
spec, i'd like to hear what it is - i mean what it
really is, not 'stochastic iconoclastic
bombast indictors' or whatever.

i'd love to hear any reasons why ta is more than
marginally meaningful on vlnc right now. i mean
that sincerely, not being sarcastic. i think
those measures are useful and always ready to learn
more. just think they are fairly meaningless in
understanding what's gonna happen to vlnc.
