<days after Steele decided to recant the account she gave Newsweek confirming Willey's version of the lascivious treatment she received at the hands of one President Clinton>

Duncan, could you translate this into English for me? Like what is the bottom line? I know I SHOULD be able to understand, but it is quite convoluted, really, is it not?

Thanks!

Christine

well, of course, they can afford
to hire him, so it is no surprise at all.

Now that we know that Steele is into commerce, I wonder about any price tag for changing her story after so many months?

From the story posted by Flicker: "Steele also said she had told Isikoff of the falsehoods before Newsweek published a story on the encounter in August 1997.

"I told him that I had not seen Ms. Willey the day she claimed to have met with President Clinton and that I had never heard of any allegations of improper conduct by President Clinton until she called to tell me her story in 1997 as Mr. Isikoff was en route to my home," Steele said."
