Well, you may be right, but 7.8% in one day isn't exactly a yawn.

David: I wish I had time to type this whole damned report.
And by the time I answer all of the questions, I may have. <G>
But The report also outlines the fact that the RBOC's will have to upgrade, presumably using PAIR equipment in order to provide this new technology. What I'm seeing are companies like IBM and the others, pushing this faster technology to the forefront. The RBOC's will HAVE to respond. And it is here that PAIR will make it's biggest money. The full terms of the ROK deal have not yet been disclosed and I would be suprised to find that the only benefit PAIR will get is $1/chip.
Specifically from the report:
"Rockwell will be the exclusive channel for PAIR chips, although PAIR will independently develop and markey ADSL systems. As part of this announcement, the two companies will jointly develop product enhancements for both computer and central site modems."
Good Luck to All. R..

David, I have read every post on pair for the last 12 months and I understand your frustration with pairgain stock price performance during the past 8 months.

Especially while other non-revenue producing companies stock prices sky rocket.

But I do believe that pair needed to go with a mainstream modem chip distributor/vendor to get their falcon chip into the hands of as many user's as possible.

The royalty price seems low, but maybe thats normal for this type deal (I just don't know). Maybe others on this thread could comment.

Again people keep lumping pair with all the other adsl vendors out there without remembering that the PG-FLEX product revenues will start kicking in the second half of the year. Also, several analyst have implied/stated in the past that the FLEX product revenue could rival the HDSL revenue streams of the past.

Long and hangin on...............
