Good point...."show me the beef".

Yes, the niche is likely to be lucrative....but players like Entrust are out there, too, with a lead in the marketplace.....and large banks who swear by their capabilities.

Paul Allen is an investor in Certicom....but, that's not Diversinet, and his share is relatively small. Has anyone seen this stuff actually work, or is it all "white paper" material. I'm sure most of us have seen white papers that turned yellow on the shelf.

Have the execs at Diversinet (versus the outside board members) ever actually delivered a commercially viable product? I believe the answer may be found through a little judicious research. How about WARP10? Some of the same players.....not very impressive results. Instant Publisher? Gaming Lottery?

There's enough material on the net for anyone to publish a white paper. Building, testing and delivering a viable product is a different proposition.

Bre-X had a great concept.

Good luck.

April 30th will tell us if the company is real...
The state of Florida has experienced their product.
Afterwhich Certicom liked what they saw and partnered with DVNTF.
I'm not touting anything. But if DVNTF release what they have promised April 30th and the certificates with the telecom company go well, I would not be suprised to see it hit $20 in 12 months. April 30th is the Beta release date. If they come through I'll buy like a big dog. I'm already in 20,000 shares @ 2 7/8. But I'm keeping my finger on the trigger until I see the results from the beta release and the telecom certificates. According to my experience with technology and situations like this my projections are:
1998
End of April $4.25-$4.50
End of July $5.50-$6.00
End of Oct. $8.00-$9.00
End of Jan. $12.00-$14.00
