Bill - It's been so long since I had anything to do with CD that my memory on the "books" is a bit cloudy. Thanks for the clarification. Mark p.s. My PhD started in '83 and was on the D2A's for CD-Audio. I bought one of the first CD-Audio players in the UK in March '83. (So I have been a bit of a techno-freak in my time !) I was even fortunate enough to visit Philips Eindhoven during my research. This was the "olden days" when audio was the ONLY CD item !
