Hi Clint,

I agree with you that XLNX looks healthier than ALTR. I thought intraday action on ALTR was ugly so I have established a short position in ALTR. According to Zack's, earning estimates haven't been trimmed in the last month for ALTR (current estimate calls for .37). For XLNX the estimate has been trimmed by 1 cent in the last month (est. 0.36).

With the exposure that ALTR has to SEA, I will be surprised if they can make the number. with cost/gate dropping I have serious doubts about maintaining a healthy top and/or bottom line growth for ALTR if the projected growth rate for the industry is just 25%.
