After leaving DEC a couple of years ago I still try to keep up on what's happening. I known some long time employees who's last day at DEC was this past Friday.

The major rumor here in MA is that Monday will be a bad day for about 20,000 DEC employees. One can only speculate that a major layoff is part of the merger.

As in all rumors, just watch, it's more fun than loosing money chasing rainbows.

Hallo stock bull ,

i watch this board for a long time, and i have the impression that
you are very familiar with DEC's business.
You must have the same feelings when you hear the name "Bob Palmer".
What do you think is there a chance for new CEO in the next months.
The long term DEC shareholders like me have lose a lot of money in
the last years, and my opinion is that Bob Palmer is the reason
for all that shit.
I am working since 15 years for DEC in Germany , and i could
not understand why Palmer is still the king of DEC .
Under normal conditions this CEO should be history . We can see
every day how nice DEC's technology work, how loyal our customers
are, or the enthusiasm of the DEC employees .
What we need is a sign, a new CEO who get credit from our customers
and colleague's.
The customers are waiting with orders they want a company with
clear visions.
When i remember the days of Ken Olsen, everybody trusted him ,
but who trust Palmer. Is there anybody who trust him ?
Is there no possibility to start a revolution ?
