More on Samsung/MEMC: Supposedly Samsung has over 50,000 (MEMC) wafers on hand. I'm guessing that's at least a months supply. I think the long time frames being mentioned here are accurate. Making wafers, much to my surprise, has proven to be too easy for too many companies. Glut. MEMC's only chance is 300mm, and that's still a maybe. They seem to be working hard towards that goal, but to me, any opportunity to get out of this "even" ought to be jumped at. And never look back. The days of the semi's are over. It's the net now.
