WORLDWIDE COMPUTER PRODUCT NEWS: Digital Equipment Corp has introduced a new unified line of Intel and Alpha- based servers for Windows NT. The product lines are based on a 64-bit Alpha processor and include the digital Server 3300, 5300 and 7300 families. The single-processor DIGITAL Server 3300/3305, 3300R/3305R systems are based on 400 and 500MHz versions of the Alpha processor. The Digital Server 5300 and 5305 are single-or-dual processor systems incorporating 400 or 533MHz Alpha processors respectively. The Digital Server 7300/7305/7300R/7305R systems are one-to-four 400 or 533MHz Alpha processor solutions in pedestal and rack configurations.
