Dear James, Did all of you see the Pope give an edict from the Church apologizing to the Jews for their part in the Holocaust? Wow! Then I heard the comment " there has been only silence from the Jewish community" Maybe they need some time after all the Church has had 50 something years to do it. The problem with an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth is that the whole world would end up eyeless and toothless ( a quote from Fiddler on the Roof ) Nancy

James it is never to late to resist evil. Once you recognize it you must fight it even at peril of your own life. It was never to late to resist. All my family lived in Germany during the war. We had family members who joined the resistance. We had family members who joined the SS. We had family members who just tried to survive. All had the choice and duty to resist. Also I have studied the period actively. The German people were not as ignorant of what was going on and were much more aware of Hitler's territorial ambitions and warmongering. Henry
