Somewhat OT:

When aol long distance began I switched to it from att. After a week I cancelled and switched back.
Today I received an e-mail confirming my switch to aol long distance.
I called ameritech and they confirmed that they received an order today switching me to aol long distance. I, of course did not order it.
Apparently, unless one instructs their local carrier to block electronic orders, aol long distance can reinstate their service unilaterally.
Beware.
Sounds like the same scam that is involved in trying to cancel aol as an isp. They don't make it easy for you.

Did anyone hear of a possible news release after the bell today
concerning (perhaps) AOL and accounting practices.?
