Thanks for the yield information on 0.25um PII. "North of 140" is an excellent number. Do you know what is the die size for the PII on 0.25um? Is this a 4 metals or 5 metals process? Does it use C4 bump technology? As I recalled the PII on 0.35um is about 200mm^2.

Thanks for the info on Intel's yields. Can you hazard to guess what AMD's yields are across their K6 product line on both .35 and .25 micron processes. I have a vested interest, I'm short big time the April 22.5 and 25 calls, uncovered - of course.

By the way, I remember Ashok Kumar said AMD's yields on their .25 micron process were something like 1% and your calculations concurred. This was about two months ago. I understand he has become more optimistic about AMD's yields, as well as their prospects. What's your view.
