Dave,

If you have a total of $10,000 or more on deposit (checking and money market accounts combined), then there is no fee and ATM and unlimited bill paying are free. I think it's like $4.95 otherwise or something, can't remember.

>>Could you clarify for me the fee structure of AIB checking accounts and ATMs.<<

If I may -- this is from the NTBK web site atlantabank.com

4.00% APY SuperValue Checking Offer:
The rate on our SuperValue Checking account is 3.93% with a 4.00% annual percentage yield. Rate accurate as of February 10, 1998.
Minimum balance to open account and obtain APY is $100. Only personal accounts of less than $100,000 are eligible. A service fee of 4.50 for each monthly statement cycle will be charged regardless of balance maintained. Other fees could reduce earnings. Interest rate subject to change at bank's discretion.

I was thinking about signing up but am put off by the $4.50 service fee. Can't see the justification for it. IMHO
