Are current PC sales/profits getting any better? I heard on CNBC this morning: INTC is cutting the price of their top of the line pentiums by 19%. MER is cutting the ratings on computer resellers, due to slower than expected recent sales. ------------------- Add this to the price cuts for business PCs announced by CPQ and IBM the last two days. These items are very short-term oriented, but so is Wall Street. And, whether we like it or not, Wall Street sets the price of the stocks we hold/sold short/whatever. Regards, Larry
