** OT **

Melissa, wasn't one of IFMX's problems the fact that it didn't conform to GAAP accounting, and was attempting to hide its problems?

Regards,

Paul

Melissa,
No, I didn't buy either, but wish I had :-). It (the correlation) was just something that I noticed then, wondered if it made sense from an investment perspective to utilize it. However, I did not expect the two curves to come together so soon. Anyway, it was primarily the volatility of BAANF that kept me out of it.

Re. BAANF not following US reporting practices, you yourself brought up IFMX that surprised us. I believe that there are companies that are careful about there accounting practices and others that are not, and it doesn't really matter whether they are in the US or not. I have no feelings about BAANF accounting practices, but have read a couple of items, including a Lehman report about it (you might have posted the pointer to it here).

Anyway, I was really surprised at how quickly the gap between the two curves narrowed.
