Petz, I never said that ... you have me confused with Maxwell, he's the
one into the "architecture thing".

BTW, PROCESS NEWS FLASH - from Yousef@MakeItSo.com

"Intel will present a paper at the VLSI symposium (early June) where they
will describe reduced gate linewidth for their .25um process. This will
now give them about 15% - 20% improvement in CPU speed due to increased
FET (P & N) drive currents."

Petz, remember how important I told you that device characteristics are
to determining CPU speed ... this is how Intel will get 400mhz - 450mhz
PII parts. NOT by simply overclocking existing PII's. Also what should
really scare you is that this process improvement work was done in Santa Clara
at their D2 facility ... Intel has two (2) very good process development
sites.
