Duncan, your word usage tends to be very laid back and quiet, but effective. The image of an Italian male as a peacock--a proud, vain, strutting creature who outglimmers the female of the species--was simply an elegant image. That subtlety is lost sometimes when you are being lawyerly or discussing politics, but still it is striking word usage, and I liked it. It evokes an immediate response in the reader.

What I want to know is what Kramer did with his part that was so effective he got to play gonorrhea again?

Do you like Frasier? I really liked the ice fishing episode, where Frasier wants to hear his dad say he loves him, and Niles is totally overdressed from head to toe in expedition gear, and they lose the car keys and get very drunk as well.
