why preannounce when everyone is already discounting a poor quarter? the big money guys know something we don't. it gets me sick to say because i'm considerably long this stock, but digi will hit 14-15 range before recovery. this company will not meet census, and should probably preannounce in an up market instead of a correcting market their poor performance. if this company can't compete they should sell, or change management. this stock is the scariest stock i own and wish i would of got out at 20 1/12. but hindsight is 20/20. but never fear, time usually cures all, as fdr said , "there's nothing to fear, but fear itself."

There is a lot of mis-information here.

For example, the Celcore acquisition was for cash, as opposed to the stock acquisition which was originally announced. The only dilution effect is the interest earning potential of the cash. Yet dilution due to the Celcore acquisition is listed as one of the negatives.

Sounds to me like some of these folks don't really follow the stock very closely.

That makes for opportunity.

Regards,

Dave Chanoux

Check out the Telecom Equipment/Data networking: Highlights from US Capex Survey. In the report it says Nortel & Lucent will benefit from MCI/Worldcom merger at the expense of DSC Communications (DIGI).

If DLJ had lowered estimates by that much there would have been a headline on some news service. Have you seen anything other than this yahoo post to backup this info.
