So you're down 22% on TRMB. Welcome to the Stock Market. It's a world where even Warren Buffet would not be surprised at a 50% drop on an investment (even if he believed in it).

Remember to focus on why you took the risk on TRMB and whether or not you feel the company's performance in the future will reward your investment. If so, hang on. If not, sell and move on.

I've been there. I once bought ORTL at $18, then watched it fall like a rock to $9. Believe me when I tell you, I felt like a complete idiot. That's when my broker called me, asked me for an update, advised me to hang on, then proceeded to buy it heavily. Even at $9, I felt it was worth $23. I sold it at that price less than six months later.

It's your turn, tell me why you believed in TRMB at $23. Should I believe in it for the same reasons now?

Happily Following TRMB,
Duke

RE: Open letter to Trimble

I seriously hope this was a joke. If not, this person deserves to lose their money and hose their kid's education. Would any of you take your kid's college $ and go to Vegas?

This kind of sapsucker drains our system of its energy and desire. Certainly, Trimble mgt. and Morgan whoever have a lot better ways to spend their time than listening to a whiner who gambled and lost.

Sorry guy, there's no social welfare in the stock market...and please stay out of unemployment line and leave the food stamps for the poeple who need it.
