MSB, Jesus was in the grave(hell) for 3 days. I will have to read my bible to see exactly what you are referring to but it says when he died on the cross, the graves of those believers split open and they were re-incarnated. When we die, our spirits(believers) go to Heaven to be with the Lord. (I believe that my spirit is my consciousness and my personality.) When Jesus comes back in the rapture, if we still remain alive, he will change us to a body like he has, indestructible. At the end of the age, we will return with him to claim our bodies, raised indestructible, to unite with our spirit and that is when he will bring down the new Jerusalem, where we will live for a 1000 years. As to the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. It means to curse the Holy Spirit. Hope this helps. We can discuss it in more detail later if you wish. James

There were millions who lived before Christ, and in the wisdom and fairness of God, they too had to have an opportunity to know Christ as their Savior. Notice the scripture reads spirits in prison. There is no hell... not yet...and certainly not the kind of hell which is preached by many. Not one person who has dies since the beginning of time has yet to be comdemned to eternal damnation....not one...except for satan and his cohorts...Ex.28 We will all be judged at the same time....at the end of the millennium!
