I think someone miss quoted Buffet, as I'v heard that a lot..but sure
he sells ..just he never sells at a loss..he will hang on for
years and take them to the wall replace the CEO and all that stuff
before he will sell accepting a loss. Now he may have some rooms
wall papered with worthless stocks for all I know, but he does
stick by his guns , but we all know he sells stock..at a profit,
usuauly a good one, if not BKRA would not be selling for $68,800
a share..it went up today another $ 1,400 on heavy volume 540
shares traded :-)

he runs bershire hathaway...and when he reports...he has to mark to market his position which is registered as trading securities and as such must report it as a loss if he bought higher than current mkt price...

its only in your mind if you think you havent loss money if the current price is below your purchase price...that doesnt mean you should sell

also he has deep pockets
