Your incessant criticism of Intel is getting redundant.

Intel's only duty is to climb Moore's law and they have had good success at that recently. Don't forget that they really don't drive demand, that's really not their business. They are ENABLERS of the real demand-drivers... the software folks in general and Microsoft in particular. Who follow a different curve, which I whimsically call Whore's law. That is, they have to suck your current hardware capacity dry and make you want more. They have been lagging at that recently, which is unfortunate for the industry. However, if you just want a peek at the bleeding-edge killer apps, look to the traditional technology early adopters... games and porn. I understand porn has been making effective use of VC, but I have not actually done any due diligence on this matter.

P.S. Intel has already committed to integrating 1394. Timeline uncertain, but probably this year.
