let me rephrase...
while it is not unusual,
i do not think it is all taht rare.
am i the only one who thinks this is unheard of?
i saw instances of people i have worked with who
were guilty of no less than really obsessive behaviors.

perhaps, this was tempered/fueled by occasional contact.
say, at the office christmas party, or in an occasional meeting?

but sure.
absolutely...maybe not very intimate gifts, but the intent was clear.

janice, my answer is strictly responding at face value to your
question. so, help me out: waht behavior were you expecting,
and in waht way would it support your implicit assumption ( which
suggests they did or did not have previous contact, or taht she
was intent on such contact....i apologize, but i have not followed
your discussion so i may be asking the obvious.)
