Hi Earl,

I use Trade Station at the moment. I use end of the day data for all my setups...I do not need for it to be hooked up in real time. (For real time quotes during the day I use PC quote.)The less inexpensive version is SuperCharts....the difference being that you may not write your own programming code into supercharts, along with a couple other things.

I have programmed and optimized a few different systems that I have found to work at giving good setups for day trading. Linda Rashke's book "Street Smarts" is better for giving exact setups in regards to trading by strict technical analysis.

"The Complete Day Trader" has some good rules to live by...and I have found the section on "Gaps", and "Support and Resistance" to be the most relative when applied properly to stocks.

Trade Happy!
