Like the last bad analogy I used, perhaps this one would be better and also sums up what you too said:

If life was a five gallon bucket
and sin was a drop of water
we'd have either a rightous world
or a scarcely populated one,
but certainly not the one we have now.

P.S. I wouldn't be so sure I'm mixing the sins up. What I was asking was for a clearer definition to measure it against my own life. I should be scared. What has been sticking in the back of my mind is, why am I not?
