<off-subject> Has anyone else besides me been having difficulty connecting to Yahoo lately? For about the past month, I have rarely been able to connect to get stock market information, etc. Could it be a problem with my "cookies"? (I have about 20 different portfolios there that are watch lists for me) I have not had any problem connecting to other URLs. And when I try to connect to Yahoo from a friend's house or a public library, I rarely have a problem. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I am not going to scoff at William. He has been one of the few to predict the rise from 30 to 50 to 80 and he may be right again.

But the big difference I see over the next 6 months is a very strong competitive threat from Netscape and Microsoft and AOL. Yahoo did not attract any attention till recently - now all the big boys want a piece of the action.

Yes - Yahoo has a lead but AOL and Microsoft and Netscape are all well known names and have great ways of driving traffic to their sites. Expect to see netscape as the #1 site in less than 6 months - it may even buy up infoseek.
