FYI... JP Morgan analyst said on Friday afternoon that DIGI would miss the quarter. That is what caused the drop. He spoke to the company, and they told him they would come in below expectations

Moe: Thanks for the note on the Lehman report. I think what is clear from the report is how DSC's rate of technological innovation is so lacking. Also, not very kind words about "fledgling" Cellcore.Just one bad decision after another. Also, concern of MOT shopping for switching products elsewhere with Alacatel noted. I cannot blame MOT for looking elsewhere if DSC was, in fact, the cause of Primeco problems. The DSC-MOT platform cannot be that good because it has produced stagnant sales results for two years, while NT and LU sprint ahead with their sales in the field. Look for Smart Money to finally admit they made a mistake with DSC. I think what we need to be bracing for now, given all the earnings downgrades already, that 1998 may even be a down year for DSC compared to 1997. This is why analysts so despise this company. Yeadon
