Russell,

People should cert what they want. They can cert what they have now and buy some more. Pull a chart. BANY is cheap.

There are three stories to this stock.....Long term, short term, and very short term. Those who want to sell BANY at the first run up to 40 cents should not call for certs. If they want to sell 20% on the first run to 40 cents, they should only cert 80% of their stock. Hell, 40 cents could be tomorrow. I'm going to cert all of my shares. I'm sticking around at least until they work a deal with Dell or Compaq or some other PC maker. I can always buy some trading shares. 5000 shares is $1,500 @ 30 cents.......It isn't all that much money.

The short squeeze results will not be felt this week unless rumors come out of the TA office. There should be a few whispers, as I know that at least 400,000 shares are being certed. It may be as high as 800,000.....depending upon the folks on this thread coming through and a select few other large holders who are friendly to the company.

So for those who have asked...."is this really happening"...the answer is yes. Will it work?....I don't know.

So cert what you got...and buy more.....cert half, keep half....don't cert....place a limit order to sell and get taken out at 50 cents....and be pissed if the stock runs to $1.00. Sell at any price if you think the stock is a scam. Everyone needs to do what they feel will work for them. The players are going for it. If the stock is borrowed short...it will be called back. Very simple really.

There is so much stuff going on here....it is impossible to say what will happen tomorrow. The list of shareholders may grow bigtime this week....and I believe the numbers will go up.

And you, Buckaroo....have done a great job with the certithon. We only have a few hours left.....I hope that was not your emotional appeal......because if it was....then it was a little weak. Anyhow, I thank you for your effort.

The final numbers will will be up in a little while......I suggest all interested folks make a hard copy. On Friday we can put out an update. I don't want to do the list every night. People can E-Mail me with what they have done.

I figure the 33 shareholders on this thread are long 1/2 the BANY thread. I will contact BANY tomorrow and inform them that we want a seat on the board of directors.

Russell,

I'd like to personally thank you for all the time you have taken to organize this latest Certathon drive. It's a pleasure to see that our "old timer" group has been joined by an excellent group of new individuals who seem to be willing to make the extra effort to help bring this stock back to its true value.

This effort is certainly going to take more patience than the average investment. Going to the trouble (and in some cases expense) of getting the certificates pried loose from our brokers; watching the tape reflect the manipulations of Market Makers who do not have the best interests of the stockholders or the company in mind; watching the share price fall even as good news is released. These are all obstacles we will probably see in the days ahead. But, I hear the phrase quite often: "Patience is rewarded in the stock market", and for this stock, I believe the phrase will eventually fit.

I know we spend a lot of time on this thread talking about how to get certificates, how to cause a short squeeze, how the bid/ask spread during trading does not move when buys are made, and how the stock price does not move even when there is no stock to fill orders. It doesn't seem that much time is spent talking about the promise of Banyan Corporation itself. But the simple truth of the matter is that BANY, like so many other BB stocks is caught in the grip of a powerful short. The stock value is no longer tied to the fundamentals of the company. And as we have recently seen, it is not even tied to the buying and accumulating efforts by the shareholders of the company. Instead it is tied to the whims of a Market Maker who represents someone who may not even know the company's name.

No one knows even if this type of effort can succeed. And like so many of the efforts here on Silicon Investor that have similarly tried to cause a short squeeze, this one too may fail. But the one thought that keeps me going is this: Banyan Corporation has not failed to deliver on any of its promises so far in the time I have been a shareholder. I have received and continue to receive a high quality of service from BANY Investor Relations. The information I get from them may not necessarily be what I want to hear, but at least it is the truth.

My thinking is this: I believe Banyan Corporation is poised to achieve all the goals it has outlined for itself in the Investor Kit. I see those goals being achieved at about the same time our efforts here will have their maximum effect. In other words good news from the company will come to us right at the time when we will need it most. When the two efforts coincide, I believe all of us who participated will be very well rewarded.

Does anyone know how many shares have been given ot BANY's PR firm? This is one bit of information that I have been unable to find since BANY is non-reporting? Also...even though they are non-reporting...they should still have financials available. Has anyone seen them in detail?

Just some questions that if answered properly will give further justification to a higher stock price.
